From the Beginnings

In 1989, the founders, John and Fred Burgess began the Lighthouse Car Centre journey. The family owned and run business grew from humble beginnings, starting out at our site in Cheapside, Brighton with 15 used cars for sale,Moving in 2003  to our fantastic open forecourt with over 80 used cars on display situated on the A259, Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex. 

Our Aims  

With over 100 years’ experience between staff, our priorities are unchanged – to offer a wide selection of affordable high standard used vehicles and deliver excellent levels of customer service. We take a no-pressure/stress-free approach, which customers enjoy and many which have never looked anywhere else apart from Lighthouse Car Centre. Established in 1989 LIGHTHOUSE CAR CENTRE is family run car trading company. Helpful without being pushy. We had a personalised registration on the car we were trading in..They took care of all the paperwork which made the sale and purchase very straightforward..Our daughter bought a car from them 16 years ago and had a good experience which is why we went back to them.
