I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a second-hand car, from The Lighthouse Car Centre, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Buying a used car can be a daunting task, but with the care and consideration, I was shown by Karl, I was able to find the perfect vehicle that met all my needs. Here are a few reasons why I believe buying a second-hand car from them was a great decision: I was able to get excellent value for my money. I found a well-maintained car with low mileage at a reasonable price and model that met my needs. The variety of cars on the forecourt offered an extensive range of options to choose from. Whether you're looking for a specific make and model or have a certain budget in mind, there are countless choices available. I had the freedom to explore different brands, models, features, and price ranges at my leisure until I found the perfect fit for my lifestyle. Before finalizing my purchase, I was able to review the car's service records, accident history, and ownership details. This transparency provided me with peace of mind and ensured that I was making an informed decision. Not only that, when I picked the vehicle up, they had taken the trouble to have it Mot'ed again and serviced! They have certainly earned my highest recommendationsF

When my mother's car was written off, we needed a reliable, quality replacement fast. Lighthouse Cars was recommended to us, so they were our first port of call. John and his team listened to our needs – a smallish car with a big boot for dogs – and made helpful suggestions. After identifying a car we liked and completing a test drive, we did not hesitate to buy from Lighthouse Cars. They serviced, valeted and MOTd our new car before delivering it to our door the very next day. John then took the time to explain the key features of the car to my mother – and invited her to pop in with any future questions. This level of personal service is rare these days, so we have no hesitation in recommending Lighthouse Cars.

After a bad experience elsewhere The Lighthouse Car Centre was recommended to me and I’m so grateful it was. From the second I got there to the time I left I was given amazing customer care, I didn’t feel pressured into buying something I was unsure on and I drove away in a car that’s perfect for myself and my family. Karl was very knowledgeable about cars available, good selection and good price. I was able to look at all the cars in peace and test drive them if I wanted. Would definitely go back/recommend. They also have a good warranty on all the cars

I needed help with a broken clip in my car which I bought from Lighthouse 18 months ago. Karl very kindly sorted this out for me straight away even though the car was out of warranty. I have always received very prompt, friendly service.

Wasn't quite sure the best way to sell my car. (garage, dealer or private) imo most car salesmen have a bad rep. I drove in here as i had passed it before.John ( the owner) asked me a few questions about the car. I thought he gave me a more than fair offer. He came across as a very likeable guy and was positive about my car .He then explained the process of how it works from there, completed all paperwork , informed dvla and money was transfered into the bank. I would definitely recommend this car center to friends and family.

Prior to our visit Karl kindly took the time late in the day to post newly taken photos of the vehicle. We visited the next day, sat down with Karl, reached agreement - including complementary 3 months warranty - and were on our way home within an hour. Collection of the car, several days later was equally smooth and quick, with the help of Josh (a.k.a “Ronnie”). Great service, we would use again.

Really happy with my purchase. After an initial telephone call I was reassured that all was going to go well. The next day travelled to the showroom and the homely atmosphere, personal conduct and positive attitude of John and Karl was clearly visible. No pressure felt at all. Very simple process of buying a new car with helpful staff and great service.Very satisfied with my new car and the part exchange was super simple and straight forward meaning I could drive away happy in my new car on the same day.Karl was also kind enough to recover an item I had forgotten in my old vehicle and hold it for me to come and collect. Having seen a car online at Lighthouse Car Centre, although it was over a hundred miles away, having read the reviews I decided it would be worth the journey and called to ask more details. Karl was easy to talk to without any pressure and answered my questions, including how the warranty would work living so far away. The car was great, however, my insurers had phone issues and couldn’t change my insurance to drive home. The team at Lighthouse were absolutely brilliant with their hospitality and ideas of how to get cover.It was well worth the journey to have found the right garage and the right car. I would recommend them to anyone buying a car; even if they are a little further than you would usually think of travelling, their quality cars and friendly, honest customer service more than makes up for it.

The customer service and experience I recently received at Lighthouse Car Centre was fantastic. I got in touch by my email, Karl promptly replied and called chatting through my enquiry. I took my vehicle along to them and also to have a look at what they had. Karl was great at listening to my needs and going through the pros and cons of each option. I put down a deposit the same day for my new car from them and a great solution for getting the best price from my old one. A few days later, they collected me from the sale location of my old car, picking me up in the new one. First class service from them, but also really lovely people to deal with. Thank you. Great dealership. The process was very easy and straightforward. They took care of the MOT and the taxation on my behalf. Also, they fixed some minor imperfections on the painting, so the car looked as perfect as it could be. Scott was very professional and keen to help. He delivered the car personally, as I couldn't come and pick it up. And I live 75 miles away. Very recommended.
